Still Truckin'

Well I haven't read the chapter on blogging in I'd Rather Be In The Studio yet so I'm probably breaking all the rules on good informative and interesting posts, but here's an update anyway. As far as studio time, I've been in there a decent amount lately. Not as much as I'd like but a decent amount. I'm working on this stream bed piece and after each days work, the progress is barely noticable. I'm wondering how most detail oriented painters stay focused when working on these type of pieces. I love painting but sometimes working all day in a 5" x 5" section can really make you crazy. The main thing that drives me on is the belief that it will be one of the best paintings I've ever done I think. I worked on some frames today with my dad, I'll post some pics of those too once I take some. Well, until next time, rock on!
